A network is collection of computer's and devices connect by communication channels that allow users share data, information, hardware and software with other user's .Individuals and organizations connect computer's in a Network for a verity of reasons, including the ability to share hardware, software, data and information and to facilitate communication's.
Need for networking:-
Hardware Sharing: In a network environment, each computer on a network can access and use Hardware. For example, suppose there are a number of personal computers on a network
and each requires the use of a laser printer are connected to a Network, each personal computer user can access the laser printer over the Network as he or she needs it.
